Traveling is essential to find the best prices, but it comes with costs and risks.

Traveling between locations requires Cash and Energy.

  • Cash Cost: Varies by distance (e.g., Stabroek to Ogle costs more than Stabroek to Bourda).
  • Energy Cost: Calculated as Cost / 50. You have a limited pool of energy per day.

Each location has an inherent Risk Level, which determines the probability of a bad event occurring when you arrive.

Note: High-risk areas often have the lowest prices, offering a high-risk, high-reward trade-off.

When traveling, you may encounter one of the following events:

The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit raids your stash.

  • Effect: You lose 30% of your inventory.
  • Mitigation: Your Defense stat (from Armor/Goons) can reduce this loss. Higher defense means fewer goods seized.

A local “Scrape Head” attempts to rob you.

  • Effect: You lose 20% of your cash.
  • Mitigation: If you have Goons in your loadout, they will “stomp out” the robber. You lose 1 Goon but save your cash.

Specific to Eccles (or just heavy rain elsewhere).

  • Effect (Eccles): Flood damages your goods. You lose 10% of inventory.
  • Effect (Others): Heavy rain. No penalty (just flavor text).

A rare positive event.

  • Effect: You find a dropped package containing 5 units of a random good.
